Executive Summary
A Medicare reform bill for in vitro diagnostic tests could be introduced in Congress by the end of the month. AdvaMed and other interested groups are close to finding a sponsor on the Hill for the legislation, which will focus on modernizing the current Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule to make it more rewarding to innovative new tests, according to a rep from the medical device trade association.
