ArthroCare makes Fitzgerald permanent head

David Fitzgerald, who has been serving as interim president and CEO for minimally-invasive surgical technologies developer ArthroCare since February, has taken up the role on a permanent basis. Mr Fitzgerald joined ArthroCare's board of directors in 2003 – his career includes 25 years at Pfizer, of which the last 15 were spent as president and CEO of its Howmedica Orthopedics division.
