Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, a US provider of knockout rats for genomic pharmaceutical research, has entered the Japanese market through a deal with TransGenic. The Japanese firm, which already supplies its own knockout mice, will market Transposagen's lines under a non-exclusive agreement.
