The US Supreme Court will hear Merck & Co's appeal of a ruling reinstating a Vioxx securities fraud class action against the company. The court will decide whether the shareholder plaintiffs were put on notice of their claims more than two years before filing suit, making their November 2003 lawsuit untimely.
