New CEO appointed at Biopartners

Executive Summary
Biopartners (Switzerland) has named Dr Conrad Savoy CEO and president. The appointment, which sees company's former CEO, Jean-Noël Treilles, working in an advisory consultancy role, is the result of a planned succession strategy following the 2007 acquisition of Biopartners by the Polish company, Bioton Group. Dr Savoy joined Biopartners in 2001 as head of pharma development. He was then promoted to chief scientific officer, working closely with Mr Treilles after the company was purchased by Bioton.
