Egis appoints new CEO

Executive Summary
Egis of Hungary has promoted Dr Istvan Hodasz, its director of operations, to CEO. He will take over from Agnes Gal, who has resigned, on October 1st. Dr Hodasz's previous jobs included a position in marketing at GlaxoSmithKline's local subsidiary and managerial positions in sales and marketing divisions of Sanofi-Aventis and its predecessors. Ms Gal, who has been managing Egis for the past four years, will remain its board member until next elections scheduled for January 2012.
