Zinc and oral rehydration salt (ORS) treatments for diarrhoea are still not reaching millions of children across the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned. Diarrhoea accounts for 18% of child deaths, and 13% of all disability-adjusted life years (DALYs). It continues to kill nearly two million children each year.
