Australian prescribing body makes board reappointment

The Australian National Prescribing Service, an independent, non-profit organisation providing information and services on the quality use of medicines, has reappointed Russell Edwards as aboard director. Mr Edwards was previously appointed as board member in 2006, and the reappointment will mark another three-year term. He is also chair of both the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct Monitoring Committee, which sets standards for the ethical marketing and promotion of prescription drugs, and the NPS Audit Committee.
