Genefar, the Amsterdam-based owner of Polpharma, one of Poland’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers, is expected to withdraw from an agreement that it signed with Gedeon Richterof Hungary last November. Under the agreement, Richter was to acquire 99.7% shares of Polpharma in a deal that has been approved by the Hungarian company's shareholders and Polish competition authority.
