Poland's national health insurance fund (NFZ) will continue to reimburse expensive therapies, which have not been included into the health ministry's reimbursement list and which have little chance of inclusion, under special programmes. Out-patient clinics will run an increasing number of these programmes to improve the availability of treatments to patients.
