AIFA sets up paediatric working group

AIFA, the Italian medicines agency, has established a paediatric working group to study the need for pharmaceuticals to treat childhood diseases and to encourage further research and clinical trials in children. The working group will build on the work already undertaken by a previous paediatric roundtable group and co-ordinate its efforts with the European Medicines Agency(EMEA).
