Takeda sets up new office of the president

Executive Summary

Takeda has established a new office of the president and CEO to support executive Yasuchika Hasegawa in these roles. The office will be headed by Kiyohiko Tamura as vice-president and general manager, who will take up the position on 1 June. Mr Hasegawa was recently appointed chairman of the Japanese research-based industry association, the JPMA, succeeding Daiichi Sankyo president and CEO Takashi Shoda.
