Executive Summary
Shire (UK) has elected Dr David Ginsburg and Anne Minto to its board of directors. Dr Ginsburg is professor of internal medicine and human genetics at the Life Sciences Institute in the University of Michigan; an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis Professor of Medicine. Ms Minto, who is group director of human resources at Centrica, has also been appointed chair of Shire's remuneration committee, effective from the end of July. She will succeed Kate Nealon, who is retiring from the position.
