Danish biotech company Bavarian Nordic has delivered the first batch of one million doses of its smallpox vaccine Imvamune to be stored in the US Strategic National Stockpile as a resource for fighting bioterrorism. The FDA authorised the delivery, which was the company's first major product sale in the US, on 17 March.
