Cellzome CEO heads UK bioscience board

Executive Summary

The UK's biotech trade body, the BioIndustry Association (BIA), has appointed Tim Edwards as chairman of its board. Mr Edwards is currently CEO of Cellzome, a drug discovery company focused on new drug candidates for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Mr Edwards has been a member of the BIA Board for almost three years; he succeeds Dr Clive Dix, who will remain on the association's board.
