Gilead Sciences has named Dr Muzammil Mansuri senior vice-president of R&D strategy and corporate development, a role that expands his current responsibilities as senior VP of R&D strategy to include leadership of corporate development and alliance management. Dr Mansuri joined Gilead in July 2010, following the company's acquisition of CGI Pharmaceuticals.
