Executive Summary
Alan Kay, who conceived the object-orientated programming approach that underpins Apple’s computer systems once famously said “The best way to predict the future is to invent it.” Kay’s own innovative genius was to recognise that in virtually all activities the modern species of Homo was still fundamentally habilis, the tool-user. While words and pseudowords such as computer code serve for recording and intellectual discourse, Homo sapiens macuserensis is still rather more comfortable with things and actions.
