Glide Pharma, a specialty pharma company focused on the needle-free administration of solid dose therapeutics and vaccines, has appointed Dr Ian Smith CEO. Dr Smith, who has nearly 30 years' experience in drug delivery at companies including Glaxo, Pfizer and Andaris, most recently served as director of H12 Consulting. In 2001 he founded drug delivery company Meridica, serving as CEO until 2004 when it was acquired by Pfizer for $125 million.
