Charlotte, North Carolina-based Chelsea Therapeutics has named Keith W Schmidt chief commercial officer – effective 28 January 2014. Mr Schmidt originally joined Chelsea in 2006 as vice-president of marketing and sales; since 2012 though he acted as a consultant to the biopharmaceutical company.
