The European Medicines Agency says that its revised policy on conflicts of interests among its experts and committee members reflects a "more balanced approach" to the handling of CoI issues. Some NGOs, though, beg to differ, accusing the agency of putting its integrity at stake by "weakening" its approach to conflicts of interests.
