Executive Summary
Alexandra Rocca has been appointed senior vice-president for communications of Sanofi, effective from 1 September 2015. Ms Rocca, a French citizen, joins Sanofi from Lafarge Group, where she was most recently executive vice-president of communications, public affairs and sustainable development and a member of the Lafarge executive committee. She began her career with Printemps from 1986 to 1990. She then joined Air Liquide where, from 1990 to 2001, she was in charge of healthcare activities communications in France, then global client communications and international corporate brand management, before being appointed deputy communications director of the group. From 2001 to 2005, she was communications director for Galeries Lafayette. She then joined the Crédit Agricole group in 2005 as communications director for LCL (formerly Crédit Lyonnais) before being appointed head of communications for the Crédit Agricole group and a member of the executive committee, in 2008.
