Executive Summary
The World Health Organization has published The Work of the WHO in the European Region, 2006-2007, a report examining the work of the WHO regional office for Europe over the past two years. The publication covers the regional office's actions to offer country-specific services on health policy and health systems, including work to improve and strengthen these systems; work done from both normative and technical perspectives; and structure, resources and governance used by the office. There is also an annex of the programme budget and consideration of cross-cutting issues, including partnerships and health intelligence.
