Executive Summary
Direct Relief International has donated $323,972 worth of essential medicines, supplies and medical equipment to Gaza. Supplies include analgesics, antibiotics, surgical supplies and examination tables, which were specifically requested by the Palestinian territory. The supplies will be used in clinics and hospitals, as well as facilities supported by non-profit organisation American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) in the West Bank. ANERA supports 40 charitable clinics and hospitals in Gaza, and is only one of three groups which can import medical supplies into Gaza duty-free.
