Vietnam Receives H5N1 Human-Vaccine Production Technology (Vietnam)

Executive Summary
The World Health Organization has donated $2.7 million worth of equipment and technology to the Nha Trang Vaccine Institute in Vietnam. The institute will use the technology to begin production of a vaccine to prevent the lethal H5N1 bird-flu strain. Installation is scheduled to be finished by the second quarter of 2008.
