Dang Minh Quang offered frank discussions with foreign companies and government agencies about Vietnam's laws and regulations. The country already has taken steps to simplify and improve its licensing procedures for drug-making firms and is nearing completion of its national pharmaceutical law and other legal issues. The ministry also plans to consider separate licenses for foreign pharmaceutical companies for producing new medicines and drugs for fatal diseases in Vietnam.
