U.S.-based security software-maker Symantec is looking to increase its Asian data-archiving business, especially in India, in light of the booming Asian clinical and pharmaceutical research sectors. India's clinical research outsourcing market is growing at around 20 percent per year, reports Frost & Sullivan. Symantec believes data-archiving for this and other industries also is growing at the same pace.
