World Bank Probes Fraud, Corruption In Drug-Funded Projects In India

The World Bank says "serious incidents of fraud and corruption" have occurred in India and $570 million worth of health projects funded by the global organization. The Bank said it and the Indian government are investigating whether companies that bid on contracts to supply drugs or other material for the projects were involved or whether Bank or government officials were involved.
