Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare added warning information to Astellas' atopic dermatitis drug Protopic (tacrolimus) ointment Sept. 25. The ministry ordered the company to add in the warning label that even though no link has been found, cases of lymphoma and skin cancer were reported.
