Executive Summary
Siemens (China) has completed its first rural health care demonstration center in Luochuan county of Shaanxi province. According to plans, Siemens will provide health care organizations of all levels in Luochuan with different types of medical devices as well as various health care solutions. The medical devices are specially tailored to fulfil requirements of small hospitals in the rural area, including CT, gastrointestinal machines, X-ray machines, surgical instruments, mammography and ultrasound machines. The program will become a new model for improving rural health care services and diagnosis, a major stride for Siemens toward enhancing rural health care service level in China.
