Vietnam's Ministry of Health issued a report that says the country needs to train more than 10,000 doctors and 14,000 pharmacists in the traditional medicine field to meet health care demands over the next year or two. Currently, the report said, the country has only 2,758 doctors and 5,000 assistant doctors of traditional medicine and the shortage of the practitioners is spread throughout all provinces.
