Philippine House-Senate Panel Agrees On Letting Doctors Prescribe Brands

A committee of the two houses of the Philippine Congress agreed to allow physicians to prescribe all types of drugs, not just generic versions as originally proposed. The leading Senate and House members on the committee said the agreement clears the way for early passage of the "Quality Affordable Medicines" bill.
