Aska Pharmaceutical says it plans to begin building a new $9.4 million production facility in April as part of a major expansion of its manufacturing operations. The new facility, in the Fukushima Prefecture, is expected to be ready to produce capsule drugs in two years, when Aska plans to close its Tokyo factory.
