MHLW Minister Supports Introduction Of Alternative Medicines To Treat Cancer

At a Japanese congressional budget hearing, the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Yoichi Matsuzoe voiced support for the introduction of complementary and alternative medicines to treat cancers and other diseases. To be covered by insurance, the medicines have to be able to show effectiveness and safety, Matsuzoe said.
