Dainippon Sumitomo Appoints New President

Dainippon Sumitomo Pharmaceutical has announced a change in representative directors. Masayo Tada will become president, current President Kenjiro Miyatake will become voting chairman and current Chairman Yasuo Okamoto will become advisor. The decision will be officially implemented at a Board of Directors' meeting in June.Tada graduated from Tokyo University and joined Sumitomo Chemicals in 1968. After Dainippon and Sumitomo merged in 2005, he became VP of DSP and in 2007 he became Executive VP. Tada has an international career managing Sumitomo's overseas business.
