Nichi-Iko Of Japan Invests ¥7.3 Billion To Build New Production Facility

Toyama-based generic drug maker Nichi-Iko Pharmaceutical announced it will build a new production facility in Katsukawa, Toyama prefecture. Chiyoda TechnoAce, a subsidiary of Yokohama-based Chiyoda Corp has been awarded the ¥7.3 billion construction contract. Construction starts this September and will be completed by October 2009. Actual production is expected to start in December 2009.
