Australians Develop Treatment To Help Immune System Fight AIDS

Australian researchers report that a treatment using overlapping peptide-pulsed autologous cells appears be able to train immune system cells to do a better job of recognizing the AIDS virus. The scientists wrote in a professional journal that tests on monkeys with a similar virus showed the OPAL treatment was effective in controlling the infection.
