Chinese regulators deny U.S. reports that China's bulk-drugs suppliers were illegally exporting performance-enhancing drugs to the United States. Wu Zhen, deputy head of the State FDA, said most of such shipments were clearly labeled and had company contracts, export licenses and "warrants from the importing countries."
