U.S. device maker St. Jude Medical plans a $30 million investment in Malaysia, building a large facility to serve as the basis for a manufacturing expansion. The company plans to begin on the office and plant combination this year with plans to begin operations in 2011. According to a government minister, St. Jude plans to kick off the facility by producing its cardiac rhythm management devices.
