Japan's largest contract research organization CMIC Nov. 30 announced an agreement to acquire a facility from Daiichi Sankyo. The 210,000-square meter facility based in Shimada, Shizuoka Prefecture manufactures antibacterial agent Cravit (levofloxacin) and hemostatic drug Transamin (tranexamic).
