Medtronic recently established a school for heart rhythm disease management and education in Beijing. As part of Medtronic College, the school will provide systematic specialty training for physicians, technicians and relevant healthcare providers in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. More than 60 local experts have accepted appointments as visiting professors for the school. Medtronic funded and set up China's first corporate college in the healthcare industry as a non-profit training organization to raise doctors' professional and management skills.
