Japan Expects To Begin Making H1N1 Vaccine Early In June

Japan's Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry says the country may be ready in a few weeks to begin making vaccines against the H1N1 flu virus. The proper strain of the virus was on its way from the United States, the minister said, and would be put into production as soon as the government decides how much production to divide between the H1N1 flu and seasonal flu. Four drug makers already are producing vaccines against the seasonal flu expected this coming winter.
