Executive Summary
China's Ministry of Health recently issued a pilot edition of management methods for medical care quality control centers to guide health administration departments. The document specifies that the quality control centers are designated by MOH or health administrations of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. These facilities are responsible for the quality control and management of relevant specialist organizations. At the beginning of each year, provincial health administrations should submit their previous year's work report of medical care quality control centers to the national center. The latter will collate, summarize and conduct statistical analysis of the data and publish the information after obtaining MOH approval. (Click here for more - Chinese Language)
