Australian researchers expect to begin clinical trials soon to test a new device for delivering chemotherapy to cancer patients. The device is the EnGenlC Delivery Vehicle developed by a pair of Sydney doctors to enable nano cells to enter cancer cells. The EDV is designed to deliver drugs directly to solid tumors such as those involved in colon, head, liver, lung and rectal cancers.
