China State Council Lines Up Tasks In Five Key Healthcare Reforms

China's General Office of the State Council recently released the tasks identified for five key healthcare reforms in 2009: speed up establishment of a basic medical care system; set up a national essential drug system; improve the grassroots medical care service system; promote uniformity in basic public healthcare; and push for reform pilots in public hospitals.
