Japan has decided to add parents of infants under six months old to the priority list for receiving an H1N1 flu vaccine once it is available. The Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry decided to add 1 million parents of infants less than a half-year-old to the second priority category because these infants are too young to be given the drug. Also in the second category, behind the million medical professionals, are 10 million people with chronic disease, a million pregnant women and 6 million infants older than six months.
