Executive Summary
The final report of the Pharmaceutical Forum has been handed down in Brussels and contains a number of recommendations, which, if fulfilled, should bring benefits to patients and beleaguered Member State healthcare budgets. However, with the emphasis now on implementation by those very Member States, EU citizens must now hold their collective breath and wait to see whether the Forum can indeed deliver on its promises or whether it is simply a talking shop for disgruntled members of the healthcare sector.
