Executive Summary
Announcing its inception, ViroChem Pharma (developing antiviral drugs) has raised $27.9mm ($Cdn36.5mm) through a first round private placement led by Picchio Pharma. Other participants included CDP Capital, Solidarity Fund QFL, Shire BioChem, the Business Development Bank of Canada, and ViroChem's CEO and CSO Dr. Gervais Dionne along with its president and COO François Legault.
