Dr Michael Rosenblatt has been named executive vice-president and chief medical officer at Merck & Co. He will report directly to Merck's chairman, president and CEO, Richard Clark, will serve on the company’s executive committee and will oversee the company's global centre for scientific affairs. Dr Rosenblatt has served as dean of Tufts University School of Medicine since 2003.
