Trinity College spin-out Trino Therapeutics Ltd. aims to develop new treatments for inflammatory bowel disease based on compounds with an indane skeleton, a six-member ring joined to a five-member ring, from extracts of a fern of the Onychium species used in traditional Taiwanese medicine.
